Actually, this question had been asked of the Black Isle Developers on their boards. The answer was that Foebane should always be dropped by one of the statues regardless of party size, level, etc.
However...there is a bug. There *are* less statues to fight if you are of a level lower than optimal for WK. The bug is that one of the statues that doesn't show up if you are a lower level has Foebane. This is supposed to be fixed in the final version of the patch. In the meantime I just CLUA Consoled it in to the game. I don't consider it cheating if Foebane should have been there and just wasn't due to a bug...  ------------------  Now where did I leave that doughnut?! |

Funny I didn't get the Foebane either. I gave it to myself with the CLUA console, but restarted my shaodows of amn game. So it really didn't matter.

This is a confirmed bug. The statue that drops Foebane was deleted by accident, and will be added back in later when the final patch arrives. Until then, you should be able to CLUAConsole it in without feeling guilty. You were screwed over by a bug, after all...

Thats one of those bugs that really got to me. The foebane is the ONLY good bastard sword.
