I thought if you chose the shadow thief avatar that the character would move really fast, as if under haste.

was are other good avatar changes that lok cool and are reasonable, ie, edwin to elminster because they are both wizards, a drow ranger to drizzt, a swashbuckler to a pirate, any other cool suggestions?

who is the elven highlord your talking about?
because changing to the shadow thief avatar increases your movement rate, do you become fatigued faster, like you do when you are hastened?
