Yes, her personality was shaped by the place (and circumstances) in which she grew up. Try her out! And, yes, that sort of relationship does happen often enough in real life. My own sister was 14 when she met the man whom she married. His first words to her were, "I love you; do you love me?" He was 19. They got married five years later.

I bet he wasn't a Chosen of his god at such a young age. That's my problem with this mod. Where's this character's downside? (Other than the Olde Englische?)

IIRC, Romeo and Juliet were the exact same ages, and look what happened to them. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm just saying that it's awfully immature, and, again, would it have killed the mod to make her a bit older?
He's not as respected as, say, Keldorn. He has sworn his service to Tyr, and proved himself honorable, but he has many deeds to perform before he can even apply to serve the Radiant Heart. But if the PC can be a Paladin at 20, so can Bjornsson.

His stats aren't terrific, but he does have a high DEX, because I'm so damn sick of the Ajantis/Keldorn/Anomen pattern. He has a unique Belt, which helps counteract his low CON, and he dresses more like a Paladin than anyone else: Shining white tunic with a red cross on the chest. He'll romance Nalia if he can, but no one else.

I don't mind the age of the character from the romance point of view, since not everyone playing this game is 20+, some are teens and would find a character their age more interesting.

The one thing that get to me is the fact that a 15 year old little gild can single handedly kill stuff a adult male soldier with years of experience would die against. That's disturbing.

Had she been a priest, mage, archer, or even a rogue it would have been more acceptable, but at 15 years old you're not developed enough to become some uber melee killing machine.

You might say she can do that because of some divine belssing. But then why waste a blessing on a girl to change her into an accomplished soldier when you could instead use that belssing on someone that's already more powerfull, making him even more powefull?

Well, there are hints in the FAQ that she is not completely human. She may be a part-Celestial, like Anera, and thus be precocious.

Half-Celestial? Yeah, this game has been centered on CHARNAME for far too long--it's time we learned who the really important people are. Happily, this mod paves the way for me to introduce my Half-Dragon NPC. Or, heck, why not go all the way and make him a Draconic multiclassed Kensai/Mage?

Saerileth is *not* a half-celestial. She is a human. I dislike it when mods focus overly much on the NPC and take the focus from the PC, so I would not do the same thing in a mod in which I am involved in the creation.

Try her out. You might actually like her!

It's possible that "She hails from Mount Celestia in the Outer Planes" is where the confusion's cropping up. (And I do have to say that, coming from there, I'd never have guessed she was just a normal human. )
