As previously stated, the only things that can block Priest spellcasting are effects such as Insect Plague (which wears off very quickly), or simply not having any spells memorized. You can Rest for days on end and it won't do you any good if you don't select which spells you want memorized. Check to make sure Anomen's (in fact, everybody's, the fact that you're playing a Sorcerer may be helping to confuse you) spellslots are full before you Rest.

His wisdo score is coloured in red, and it is 16, so i think this may be the problem. is there anyway to regain the two wisdom points lost?

The two Wisdom points lost? How do you know he started with a WIS of 18? Because he didn't. No, Anomen has a natural WIS of 12, which can get raised to 16 if you complete a certain quest in a certain way. His WIS score will be in red for the rest of the game, don't bother looking for items that are affecting it.

As my lead charicter is a paladin, i have done his stonghold quest and he now carries the avenger, i looked at his information and saw he only accounted for about 8% of the parties XP. i was wondering how a dual class senario would work, hes a level 10 cavaleir at the moment, and i have no idea how dual classing works, could somebody advise me?

Paladins (and Barbarians, Bards, Monks, and Sorcerers) cannot Dual-class.

You completed Anomen's quest and have won Carsomyr, and your Paladin is still only Level 10!? Man, I miss those days....

The effect that made it red also blocked other Wisdom-affecting things.

EDIT: Ok, ignore me. This seems to only apply in TOB, and only if you recruit him in TOB, rather than having him in your party as you go through:

Anomen Title Fix resolves the oversight of his title and associated bonuses of his knighthood being lost when he is summoned in [location removed] in Throne Of Bhaal if Shadows Of Amn is completed without him present in the party, and that his Wisdom was "red numbered" as a magical effect so could not be increased by any means.

ok ill make sure he has spells memorised, they were before, so i dont know why or how thay would becoem un memorised
