Yeah profit from the stronghold doesnt really matter, cause in the end it takes so long to accumulate into somethin useful you may as well just go on a quest..

Problem I find with the thief stronghold is, i often arrive back from underdark too late, so raenal takess it away as i didnt pay the quota in time, which is kinda annoying...Especially as once I was on time out of underdark, but the walk to the docks took too long!! Arghhh!

Hmm. I had never thought of recruiting each NPC, at least for a bit, and taking them to my stronghold. Leaving them there, I could populate my stronghold with some full-time staffers, wallflowers, and party-rats doing kegstands in the kitchen.

I've usually sent NPC's back to Copper Coronet. Next time I'm having them over to my pad.

I recently just encountered a similar situation, and I went to talk to raenal (which was odd, it said it was taken away, but when I went to collect money, they still gave it to me) and with 4000 gold, got it back.

[/QUOTE]It is so fun to populate the Keep. Everyone has their perfect place to be. Aerie likes the roof, while Nalia prefers the main chamber, with Major Domo. Minsc rambles daily to the Captain, I put Edwina to work in the kitchen, Viconia conducts dark rites over the site of the slaughter of Lord Arnise... The possibilities are endless.

I enjoy the D'Arnise Keep and Planar Sphere strongholds the most.

At least they are both marginally interesting.

Anyone tempted to make a mod for the Planar Sphere so you can go Demon Bashing in alternate planes?
