I always found tyaht resting when poisoned resulted in 300-1500 points of dmadge. Need I say more?

you'd think so certainly but i've never not survived it (SoA, ToB, ToB patch and Baldurdash) - i always do it when i get hit by the poison trap in the otyugh's room in the opening dungeon for example - i did think it was a bit strange though

Well, what alignment are you? If you don't have Slow Poison, just carry some Elixrs of Health around with you at all times... They double as healing potions in a pinch, and you really shouldn't need them by Chapter Three, anyway... You shouldn't be getting hit at that point.

If you are of good allignment (some nuetral as well i think) you get a slow poison special ability... use it!

I dissagree with Nerull. I'm playing sOa with ToB for the first time and I 'm also a solo sorcerer. I find it wery interesting and chalenging at the beggining , but once you get to know spells and get to a high level, 20 or so, there's no better character. And I like spell, they are more officient than fighters.
And don't wory about traps, use stone skin , mirror image and wear ring of gaxx's and if you still fail, take a thief with you to dissble that nasty trap and than play solo again. |
