To be honest the dragon was a lot of luck. I had summoned 2 fire elementals, 2 nymphs, and my handy dandy loin, but they had all perished. So summoned up a copy of myself (via the helm) and ran like crazy casting cromatic orb whenever I got a chance and lucked out on a fail save that killed a certin shadowy big lizard.

The two handed sword is indeed on the dragon in the winspear hills, but the one we are discussing here is in Umar hills, or rather in the ruined temple next to Umar hills

If the druid is powerful enough to complete the druid grove quests and take on a dragon, odds are said druid is powerful enough to slay with their Orbs. c) What does a druid want with a 2-handed sword, anyway? To sell? I'm sure they'll find enough loot elsewhere.

My little woodland lass is 14th level at this point. Yes the orb slayed him, of course that was after several reloads and a few time of just plain running for the hills. On one of those attempts I had about 6 or 7 levels drain. I'm soloing so yes I'll have no need for that wonderfully powerfull 2-handed sword. I believe it is like FoA in that it can't be sold either.
