You'll want 3 or 4 Warriors, 2 Priests, 1 Thief and 2 Wizards. Since that makes a total of 9 party members, you're going to want some Dual- or Multi-classed characters who can do double duty.
Jan and Imoen make capable Thieves. Nalia does not. Jaheira and Anomen make capable Warriors. Viconia does not. Be careful with your Wizards: Know the distinction between "primary Mage" and "backup Mage." You're going to want to have access to the best Wizard spells (like Breach, Mordenkainen's Sword and Time Stop) as soon as you possibly can, which means somebody like Edwin or Nalia. Using a backup Wizard like Aerie, Haer'Dalis or Jan to fill this role can be done, but nowhere near as efficiently. Quote:
I would build an all-trueclassed Warrior party as: Berserker Barbarian Archer Inquisitor Monk Kensai But it'd be better off with a Swashbuckler in place of the Monk or Kensai.

After playing 10 hours of PnP D&D without the party wizard, with only a fighter, a berserker, two rangers, two clerics, a rogue, and a bard, I've come to learn and appreciate the following three things about magi: AoE damage and/or incapacitation spells, spell protection, and spell protection removal. When your character faces a field of angry fighters, archers, and wizards, you'll wish all to heck that you had a mage to cast Cloudkill or Web or Fireball so you didn't have a line of archers playing target practice with your butt while melee attackers carved their initials in your spleen. Well in Monty Python's world (And many medieval worlds), "Enchanter" is a catchall term for "Mage" which is a catchall term in the DnD world for "Arcane Spellcaster". I believe there was a thread about this quite some time ago (Confusion about the terms "Mage" "Sorcerer" and "Wizard"). Though if his powers are any indication than yes, Tim would be an Invoker if specialized in any school.
