Well I tried it yesternight and couldn't wait for the perfect excuse to tell people...though I'm probably not the first to spoil it.

... I knew that months ago, dear one. There's a dialogue option that says "So a Heal spell should help you?" or something like that... though I suppose you might need a higher Wisdom score to figure that out.

I did the Harper quest, jamming a Fire Elemental in the door to ensure it stays open. Now I have a nice convenient place to stash my stuff, since the druid grove has no containers. And it's convenient to Jahaboam, the only merchant to whom I ever sell things. That way it's easier for me to get something I might need later.
I bought the Valhior's Helm (sic?) and two scrolls of protection from magic. Since I fully intend to get the Silver Horn, and don't want to die from a Maze spell when I shouldn't, and don't want to waste a perfectly good scroll on that, I intend to indulge in some fine cheese, just this once. I figure it's justifiable.
After that, I still have to go kill Mae'Var And Company, then give the money to Gaelan so I can finally get the Amulet of Power, then the Copper Coronet, and before Trademeet, I must do Haer'Dalis and the Planar Prison. For the love of Mystra, I sorely need those Boots of Speed.
Noteworthy Battle:
Faldorn Vs. A Room Full Of Rayic's Mephits
BY THE GODS this was annoying! They actually killed me, before I had the sense to go back in protected from fire and fire/cold... Even protected, I couldn't get a single spell off; apparently just being hit but not hurt will disrupt a spell. Feh. I had to duck outside and polymorph into my favorite form, a sword spider, and then proceeded to skewer the little buggers. The golems fell to a single fire elemental, the tiny one... and Rayic himself? Insect Plague and another elemental. I got a HUGE one that time. All in all, a good hunt. Except for the part about dying.

Hehe ok. Wish I had actually tried it before though.

I finally killed Mae'Var, the flamer, and it was quite easy. Again, nobody was able to stand up to my fire elementals, my sword-spider simulacrum, or my swarm of insects.
I expected more of a fight.
I went to fight the Daystar-lich in the Crooked Crane... and I can't get the door open.
By the sacred oaths of Silvanus, it got me angry.
I paid Gaelan the money, got the Amulet.. Mook died.. I'm now supposed to go to the Five Flagons and meet the two traitors. I figure while I'm there I'll pop downstairs, see the play, and start the Haer'Dalis quest. That way I can finally get the Boots and hop on over to Trademeet.
Still waiting for an epic battle, worth posting in detail. Perhaps my schizophrenic confrontation with myself will be amusing!
"..but the mother feeds me, that I might fight for her!"
"You stupid bitch, you have no idea how to kill infidels! You don't do it obviously! You wait for them to wander off alone and THEN kill them! Don't you know that freakish lightning-related deaths in Athkatla have increased exponentially in the last two months?!"
"That was YOU? Wow, I'm impressed."
"Yeah. Impressed enough to make me Great Druid?"
"Of course not! We're taking THIS to the pit!"

In other news, I leveled up! I'm now Level 13. So very very close.... But until Level 14, I still remain...

I thuaght when targets where petrified, paralyzed, or when time is stopped, in your favor of course, that you always hit.

Please. I thought that was the case too, but I distinctly saw things like, "Faldorn- 10+0=10 Miss" .... I don't remember the exact numbers. That's why I made a big deal about it when posting, I thought it was more than a little strange.
But Bregg went down like a Turmish courtesan. Had no trouble hitting him.

I mentioned how Mae'Var was too easy, and was disappointed.
Be careful what you wish for.

I rescued Haer'Dalis and did the Planar Prison quest. After getting hit by Power Word: Stun and dying/reloading, I memorized Chaotic Commands. Then I got hit by Disintegrate and died. Then I realized that druids DO get Death Ward. So I memorized THAT and tried again after reloading. They killed me with a cheap shot. BUT THEN I LIVED! I managed to summon two of the huge fire elementals and a simulacrum who went spider, and there was no problem.

Then I rested. In my quickslots were four potions of superior healing, then five of Invisibility, and a Wand of the Heavens I salvaged from a corpse, with five charges. I summoned two elementals, cast Improved Invisibility on each of them, drank a potion, and CAREFULLY ran past the thralls. I cannot emphasize enough how many times I had to click.. I didn't want an elemental to just "ATTACK HOSTILE CREATURE! DESTROY! DESTROY!" and blow our cover.

We made it to the Master of Thralls. He killed me.
I reloaded.
So me, two elementals, and my simulacrum versus the Master of Thralls, his two elementals, and that wyvern. The wyvern was taken care of by four blasts from the Wand of Heavens, two each by me and my simulacrum.
The wyvern died... and so did one of my elementals. Our Wands of Heavens were turned against one of HIS elementals, and it died soon enough as well. The entire time, you understand, I'm running circles around the giant pit, because an irate Master of Thralls is chasing me. I'm drinking Potions of Superior Healing like they're the elixr of life... er, and technically, they are.
To make a long story short (Too late), I managed to take out all of his cronies... and he took out all of mine. We're both Near Death... except I only have one attack per round. I run around the circle casting Chromatic Orbs at him, and he resists several. I finally realize I can just drink a potion of invisibility and retreat... but he sees through that illusion. No matter, because I'm fast thanks to my spiffy new boots.
I come back and he's at full health... but alone. I take him out easily, down another invisibility potion, run run run to destroy the Orb... Then summon an air elemental with the staff.
May I note that I love the Staff of Air? Once I get the Bag of Holding, it'll never leave my side.
And by the time I get to the Warden.... his thralls have already killed him!
THIS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE! That is so strange.
Now there's just a large battle with some thralls, umberhulks, and a minotaur (SEE NOTE AT END OF POST). I decide to grab as much loot as I can carry and go save my friends.
A fine adventure.

Note: Shouldn't it have been a Yuan-Ti Mage And Party? The same at Chateau Ramazith (sic?). In the southeastern room I fought several umberhulks and a minotaur, when I distinctly remember fighting a group of Yuan-Ti there.
Whatever.
I have my boots, and so now it's time to head on over to Trademeet!
Woo-hoo!
Until then, I remain devotedly yours,
-Faldorn the Pretty Good Druid
