great story, reminds me of the time when my solo sorc failed a save... against a hold person spell! it took my druidic (druid grove) enemies quite a while to get rid of my stoneskin/mirror image protections, but i was just desparing of ever being able to hold out when, with 4 hit points left, the hold wore off, and i managed to cast stoneskin. Needless to say, they didn't get a chance to cast hold again [img]smile.gif[/img] I came out of that fight with 1 hitpoint left, those flame blades cut through stoneskins!! Very close.
