Importing the items is a cheat!!! Having a bug in a game/you looking not well doesnt mean that you can import stuff and go on being legit.

Yes it is. If through some stupid gamebug the items get unreachable, it is caus of an error in the game. If you look at it logically, you SHOULD be able to get the items. If through some error that is not possible, go ahead and 'cheat' them in.

but first thing of all, try to beat the bug by intalling patches.try to do your best to get rid of bugs.if u have tried and didn't succeed, then use cheats to eliminate the bug.u dont want to play a bugging game do you?

Not nessecarily. I found a way to get melchar harpell (sp??) to go away without giving up your items, although it is cheating. If you have cheats enabled, when he appears, you press control-q over him, and once he joins your party, you kick him out and he leaves. And if you have a party of 6 people, just remove him from your party from the screen that asks you which character you wish to remove to make room for another 1. He leaves you, and you've still got Drizzt's stuff! But yeah, it's cheating.

Can't you just CLUA the items into your inventory, or use Ctrl+Y on Harpel?

Fire, I didn't phrase it properly. It should have been, "Wouldn't it be easier to just CLUA the items into your inventory, or use Ctrl+Y on Harpel?"

I don't cheat, nor do I powergame. I was just curious as to why he would waste so much time when there is an easier way...it's still the same cheating.

Seriously guys, Malchor should NOT be able to just take Drizzt's items and run off, he should at least fight for it.

That would be interesting. "It's mine!" "No, it's mine!"
