My PC was a mod kit creation that was immune to imprisonment, I don't know if I would have beaten him this month if not for that. He's protected. Edwin can cast spell immunity abjuration, so he's cool. Solafein can cast it too but his wore off without me noticing. Bye, bye Sola I'll see you later. My assassin has use any item HLA so he used a SI abjuration scroll. I had Viccy in my party and couldn't protect her. The Shield of the Arcons won't stay up very long when he's got a semi-auto matic impruziment rifle. So I used my ring of the ram against his first form to push him off in one direction since he can target anywhere in the room from the center spot. I had Viccy hide at the other end raising anyone who bit it. In order to get around the teleport fields one should wear the boots of speed with improved haste or greater whirlwind or haste potion and run like hell. A dispelling weapon like Carsomyr, SotM or an Unholy Reaver helps. I used the last one. Summons are pretty much toast. Basically get as many fast melee hits in as possible because he doesn't cast any PfMWs. He just regenerates something fierce. What else. Oh, having the item upgrade mod and turning daystar into a +4 weapon sealed the deal. Kangaxx probably wants a piece of the guy who made that mod. Better not go into any undead tombs Weimer. ![]()

Wizards and Bards can laugh at Imprisonment all they want, because Spell Immunity is such a damn useful spell. Berserkers are free to giggle all they want as well, because their Berserker Rage lasts more than long enough to take down a Demilich.
IMPORTANT: Berserker Rage grants immunity to Imprisonment. Barbarian Rage does not. Do NOT get them mixed up. All other classes are going to die very quickly in the face of multiple Imprisonments, since the only methods available to them [Shield of the Archons, Book of Infinite Spells (Spell Turning), Ring of (Minor) Spell Turning, Rod of Absorbtion] can only block a very small number of 9th-Level spells. And I've heard that Improved Kangaxx uses Teleport Field, which is going to be absolute HELL if you're trying to keep your more defenseless party members out of the line of fire. I guess that purchasing some of those Protection from Undead scrolls wouldn't be amiss in this one case. Quote:
