I'll see Six's statement about AI-abuse and raise it with a piece of cheese ...

Cerek, isn't the Shield of Reflection just at the Adventurer's Mart, from Ribald? Or is that a different item?

Shield of Reflection is a contender to the title of Most Ridiculously Underpriced Item. Scroll of Protection from Magic is hot on it's heels though.

My usual tactic against these dumb creatures:

As stated earlier, Adamantium Golems cant pass through doorways or pass over bridges. I just stand far enough away that their cloud damage doesn't effect me and throw my best axe or hammer at 'em! (My personal choice is the Dwarven Thrower +3 hammer, I believe). I also makes quick work of the Stone Golems that are with them, which usually get stuck behind the Adamantium ones, yet you can single them out before taking out the big boy!

Just out of curiosity, am I the only one whose computer calls them AdamantITE Golems? Or is this simply a community of people who were exposed to Wolverine before D&D?

Maybe its just because one person spells it that way, and since no one else knows how to spell it, they copy the original spelling?
probably true. atleast thats often the case when talking about dragons. its rare to see one correctly spelt dragon name in a thread, since usually the thread starter spells it wrong, so most of the others spell it the same way...
