That's why my first character was a cleric/ranger. Let me tell you how badass these people can be. First, they can cast cleric AND druid spells thanks to their ranger half. Bolt of Glory AND Creeping Doom? No problem! Second, your choice of racial enemy can greatly benefit your party. You can choose lich. Need I say more? Third, they are the best chars for Crom Faeyr if they've got the points in warhammer.

IMO, the only way a pureclass ranger can rock is with a bow. Kivan from BG1 did this exactly right.

Interesting Trivia:
Newer releases of BG1 come complete with TotSC, and its got better compression so it all fits on 3 CDs. You didnt care about that, but the extra bonus in this pack is a 4th CD containing the soundtrack. [img]redface.gif[/img] )

I was surprised to find that with my new copy of BG1/TotSC. The soundtrack's a little painful in places, but the Helm temple music is great.
