Perfect requires a roll of 96

There are 8 manuals in total.

There is a bug exploit to get your charisma (legitimately...) to 25. Start with that as low as possible

so there is actually some point to specialist mages apart from +1 spell and -1/-2 school(s) ? personally I could never work out a school I wouldnt miss so I generally go for straight mages (or fighter->mage duals)

anything more i should know about specialist mages butterfingers ? they're starting to sound interesting

Legitimate cheating?
You are... special, ain't you? Bug exploiting is no less cheating than SK is. IN fact, SK is easier to use.
LMAO... whehehe he is sure special indeed.. .

De'Briago, exploiting a bug is the same as cheating... so it is not legitimate making it illigal .

[add] If you do not feel that you are cheating go and exploit that bug, but when you are playing a NON cheating game, do not exploit a bug because it is equal to cheating.

My Transmuter's ability to go nuclear is frightning.

I now have ADHW. Technically, a Transmuter should not be able to cast this spell, since one of his opposition schools is Necromancy. Oh well. I scribed it away. I will be able to cast it soon I hope.

I still can not find a Ruby Ray of Reversal scroll. It's starting to bug me. Hunted shops, looked all over, I don't seem to be finding it. For a Transmuter, RRoR is the only way to dispell enemy protections, and, it is a damn good spell on it's own.

I will not cheat one in, but, I am starting to get agitated not being able to find one.

If I am not mistaken, a scroll of RRoR can be found in Spellhold. Its' Gauntlet to be more precise.

Edit: Perhaps it was in that chest by the big stone head that leads to the lower levels. With the scroll of Delayed Blast Fireball. Not a 100% sure though.

In Deirex (lich in Ust'Natha) his tower, the second level with the pool at your left.

It is also a random treasure. IIRC there is no Ruby Ray of Reversal scroll in the Chest near the Big Head in the Gauntlet... there is indeed a Delayed Blast Fireball scroll in it but no Ruby Ray of Reversal scroll.

Damn, I remember there being a second spell though. Perhaps it was a simalcurlum or project image spell? Curse this memory of mine!

I checked a savegame file of mine... and I had TWO Ruby Rays of Reversal spells in my inventory... I'm currently at the last level of the Gauntlet (Bodhi's Playground).

I have TDD installed so that should probaly be the cause of this (me having 2 Scrolls).

Because in my knowledge there isn't a Ruby Ray of Reversal spell before you enter the Underdark... You can only aquire it when you find it as a ''random treasure'' and in Deirex his tower.
