Yup, Beast masters are considered to be the weakest of all classes and kits.
Getting him as low stats as possible and putting the game on insane would be .... "challenging" for lack of more abusive words [img]graemlins/whipitgood.gif[/img]

Beast master would be easier there are many strong leather armours and quaterstaffs and he sommons up his jaguar since he is the protagonist. i think illusionit is weakest.

A Beastmaster with either the Staff of Rhynn or the Staff of the Ram or dual wielding clubs, along with Armor of Faith and other good spells, wisely used, could kick ass just fine. You get a mob of bugs to disrupt casters, and, even with lowish stats, you could still open a real can of whoopass, I know Zach the Reluctant Bhaalspawn sure did. Although he was a fighter.

Stop picking on the Beastmaster! He is only a weakling when played by stupid people who should be playing Candyland or something. Besides, Rangers get awesome min stats. There is no weak Ranger.

Everyone can figure out to play a beastmaster.

It's nerfed, but not weak.

Try soloing a Diviner all the way to the end of ToB. I know it has been done through SoA, but I have not heard of reports of success through ToB.

Maybe you could have an informal contest to see who can get the most XP before dying, using a given weak class with given weak stats - no reloads allowed

The fact that someone CAN Solo a Shapeshifter or Transmuter all the way through ToB does not mean it is a strong class, or even a good class. A Wizard Slayer or Beastmaster with minimum stats can still kick ass with Short Bows, but I'll certainly never make the attempt.
