Copy/pasted from another thread:

The j's are not pronounced and the a is a large a, not a flat a. It is part of the name of a character I once dreamt up: His full name was Dominique Indemaijinj of the Open Head Wound. He had suffered a massive blow to his head that had cracked his skull in two. He had a transparant crystal set in his forehead to seal the wound and sometimes you could see his brain glowing ominously behind it. As you can probably imagine, he was wee bit off the hook at times.

His sidekick Exincreein (Full name: Exincreein d'd'd' Kh'jah (d' is pronounced by clicking you tongue/mandible/whatever) had and is constantly undergoing som many physical alterations that it's gender and species is in a constant state of flux.

I will let this thread stay. As I suppose it can be relevant since most of the users' names are D&D inspired.

The same way I think, because the General Discussion forum (ive looked it up) is really OVERCROWDED
No it isn't, and if it, only because *I*'m there! Actually, Lavindathar posted a similar topic there not too long ago.

Ah, finally got my registration completed... First post on this forum for me now.

Well, my name is Swedish name in "viking-style" (the first part of the nickname is a description of the persons personality) meaning Blood wolf (Ulf or Ulv is a normal name, just as Orm, meaning snake, is a normal name in the old nordic world) and the last name Kristibane means Christ's bane, because he is asatru. That name has been given to my berserker/cleric because of his bloodtirst ;o)

Otherwise the norse mythology and world of Tolkien are the most name-inspiring sources. Some examples:
Iluvatar (from Silmarillion, the first and biggest god who created the others) - kensai/mage

Kiaran (celticish name which I took from an Irish movie where there was a guy named Kieran) - fighter/thief

Tom Bombdadill (from lord of the rings. A maia living in the old forest) - fighter/druid

Goldberry (from lord of the rings. Tom's "wife") - swashbuckler/mage

Trau is my last name. It's a fairly unusual name (in America, anyways), unlike Smith or something, so I think it fits well with fantasy.
