You can't get out when the High Maden (or something) wants to perform her ritual (with the dragon eggs and the planar demon)she closes the city when the ritual is performed and only when she is killed you can leave the city again... if the city is turned hostile you can leave but can never enter again.

You need the standard mace of disruption from Bodhi's lair (pool of blood).

And illithium from the Sir Sarles quest.

Take them both to Cromwell in the Docks district and he will upgrade the mace [img]smile.gif[/img]

can i get a URL to the item upg. mod (for mac), i assume it comes with a list of recipes...does the mod work without tactics?

i took out the elemental lich with a l.13 straight solo fighter...he gated a pit fiend, and wasted his spells on it haha.

Give the upgraded mace of disruption to a tank and haste him/her.

That's it and bye bye lich.

As I played SoA and ToB all the lichs went down in no time and only 1 lich managed to cast a single spell.

The Item Upgrade Mod will indeed work without Tactics. They are two seperate Mods. Check the README file for item spoilers - including 'recipes'. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you have a cleric or Paladin in the group, with good level, only use the Turn Undead, and the lich died without opossite to you.

In personnal? my Paladin made dust with Turn Undead.

Except for Spell Trap, Spell Deflection (Minor & Full), Spell Turning (Minor & Full) Shield of the Archons, Ring of Spell Turning and possibly the Book of Infinite Spells (Spell Turning page). Spell Immunity is the best way, but not the only way.

When Matron Mother Ardulace is killed, you can indeed leave the city....and return....and go all the way back to Athkatla....and come back into Ust Natha.....as many times as you like. All the Drow quests that require you to blend in as a Drow will be gone, but Deirex will still be there, and the Rope will still work.
