Swashbuckler vs Improved Irenicus, Long and heavy! (Updated!)

Nice moves, Rataxes. Don't you just love it when an improved lich sets off a contingency containing an incendiary cloud. This seems to happen quite often and always renders 90% of their spells useless whilst the effect lasts. The fact that it caught Irenicus its range makes this even sweeter.

I've yet to face I-Irinecus in hell, but the time is drawing nigh. I'm dreading the encounter and i'm playing with a full crew. Are extra party members likely to help or hinder in this encounter?

Incendiary Cloud is indeed very sweet when Liches use it against themselves, always kills off any other foes in the area in mere seconds as well [img]smile.gif[/img]

I think Improved Irenicus is pretty much impossible to solo with most classes - namely pure fighters who lack any sort of special abilities - But whenever it actually IS possible, you'd probably survive better on your own. A whole party packs a hell of a lot more punch and is much more versatile, of course, but it's so damn hard to keep them all alive, especially in a battle like this

Anywayz, I'll try posting a story/pictures too. But I cant do anything with a copmuter, so I dunno how to host things on websites and make them appear here and such
Plus the fact that I'm in the middle of a very important exam-week right now,.. so I dont really have time to sit down and do this fight properly.

Anywayz, if anyone still has the energy to explain -probably for the 100th time- how to get pics in my post ... in a way even your grandmother would understand ... that'd be great [img]graemlins/angel.gif[/img]

Oh, and now that I got ADSL just yesterday.. the pics suddenly wont load anymore, whats up with that ?

Sometimes it happens for me as well, try just clicking "Update". Also, the server I'm using isn't 100% stable so the pics could actually go down on occasion [img]smile.gif[/img]

To upload

1) Click this link http://www.graffiti.net

2) Fill in the user name you want in the text box to the right and click Enter

3) Fill in the information they require, only the fields marked with ** are required. What they're asking for in the Alternative Contact Adress is really your e-mail adress. Click on Sign Me Up

4) Now your registration is complete. Click on Web Hosting in the upper right corner. This will take you to the File manager.

5) Go to the bottom and click on the Browse button to the right of the text box. Select the image you want to upload(make sure you've converted the image to either gif or jpg beforehand) and then click Upload.

6) Your image is now online, just repeat step 5 whenever you want to upload more images.

7) The adress to your image is http://home.graffiti.net/YourUserName/ImageName.gif (or jpg)

8) To show the image here, simply write [img] TheAdressToYourImage [/img] (without the spaces before and after the adress)

Thanks, I retired her a short way into ToB. Other projects were becoming more interesting after SoA [img]smile.gif[/img]

Just remember one thing, don't post in ancient threads such as this one. Thread necromancy, as it is called when you bring old threads up to the first page by posting in them, isn't recommended. I think it might even be strictly forbidden by the forum regulations.
