Opinion on Party - Imoen or Mazzy - Page 2

I would take them both, and kick Jaheira out.

Well Six, I would have done that, but, I was out of spells. Sad really. I did most of Brynlaw's quests and never really rested. I um, was actually in a hurry to get to Jon and start pulling teeth so I could find out what he knows.

That's not to say I did other terribly evil things. Take that nice Holy Avenger sword... Knowing one day, such an artifact could pose a threat to me, I had to get rid of it. Hmm I think I sacrificed it on an altar some place... Was it the troll altar in the maze? Or did I offer it to Demogorgon? Hmm don't remember. But where ever it is, it is gone for eternity.

Hmmm, i just kicked Nalia out (want to keep Mazzy because she's a good tank) and now have Yoshimo in my party (when he turns traitor i change him for Imoen and that way i changed my mage/thief Nalia for my beloved sister mage/thief Imoen (and falling deeper and deeper in love with Jaheira, because i like her accent). Then i'll have:

Me (Ranger)
Jaheira
Valygar
Mazzy
Minsc and Boo
Imoen

sounds like a great party to me

am I the only one who wished Imoen stayed as a bloody thief ?! what is with that ? the first time I ever played BG2, I got through the start sequence and "oh there's Imoen ! cool she's in BG2 as well!" , which lasted a whole 3 seconds untill I realised that somewhere, some idiot had told her to dual class to a mage (which I certainly hadn't done in the original), and she will never become more powerful as a thief. If I had my way, I'd send her for a private session with Bodhi to make her a vampire, then do Valen's trick of becoming a multi-class instead of a dual.

On a side note, my next moment of confusion came when Jaheira started weeping over her stupid Khalid, aparently recently deceased (although I'd been sure the whimp died when I solo-rushed him at Ankhegs, fresh out of the Friendly Amn Inn near the start of BG1). This confusion turned to dismay when I realised that, following the demise of her lover, Jaheira decided someone had to carry on with his legacy of annoyance, and chose herself for the task. At least Minsc and Boo still rock as the original butt-kickers-for-goodness!
