It regenerates

On that note, heres a method that might allow a solo mage to kill the manifestation. Resist Fire -> the manifestation. Its a demon and therefore already 100% resistant to fire (I think, someone correct me if Im wrong).

Now flame arrows heal it. I havent tried this but in theory it should work. maybe.

Yes, those are priest scrolls. Mages cant read them. Useful normaly, but worthless in this situation.

As has been said, the Staff of Curing should be the ticket.

For some bizarre reason, I find that the Gloves of Healing (as well as the Gloves of Missile Snaring, although they're more difficult to get) cannot be used by any character that cannot wield a Long Sword: Neither pure Wizards nor pure Priests can put them on. I say this is a bug just *itching* to be fixed. (I haven't tried them on a Monk yet.)

Isn't the Staff of Curing usable only by Clerics? Has anybody tried using Restoration scrolls( usable by all characters) on the Empathic Manifestation?

Usable by all except the Fighter, Thief and Mage.

You could always cast sphere of chaos and hope you get the heals targets by 20hp one.

Well I suggest what someone else suggested, get his fire resistance to above 100% and use fire attacks.

The Emphatic Manifestation wears the item called MINHP01, which makes him unkillable by normal means.

Of course, Time Stop followed by Shapeshift->Mind Flayers is an exception.
Although i wouldn't recommend it - it probably won't trigger his 'scheduled' event.
