An updated photo of the construction at my church's location
 The photo is actually slightly out of date. Most of the roofing framwork is in place and the top right and bottom left areas are more built up. Only a matter of time before they can start with the infrastructure. Tilt-up construction is a marvelous thing. In other news, a friend of mine is helping to expand his uncle's moving business, and I may be working with him in the near future.

Bummer, the job with my friend fell through. Apparently after 3 interviews and preliminary training it was determined he wasn't old or experienced enough for the job. I lose out, cuz I would have been getting hired in through him.
back to looking for work the hard way.

Howdy all.
Stink to hear about the arthritis Cloudy (et al), and about the job hunt - it is real frustrating to go to interviews and not get a result. Just looked into the forum for the first time in months. Been travelling the world (well Europe) and moved to scotland since I was last on. I was damned lucky to get a job in the first week - start next Monday. it is with a bank so pays good. Thw wife is still looking - unfortunately she doesnt fit into a nice box like me so she is having a bit of trouble - but I am sure it will be fine. Once she gets an interview she will be away. anyway, I will keep an eye on things around here again now we are settled! *grabs m&ms*
