Good luck Dron_Cah
Its my brothers 50 birthday today, so i'm up (very) early to drop him off, he is going on a 4wd off road tour through the blue mountins, a present from his wife. Yesterday I gave him my present, a two hour flight over Sydney in a piper warrior with me at the controls for about twenty minutes. He seemed worried until I handed back control to my friend The turbulance was bad though and I nearly produced a bowl of west Texas chilli (errr thanks Bungleau)over the controls. Talking of flying, where is Lady Blue these days?

LOL, Good luck on the finals, Dron Cah. LZ, that's a cool screenshot! I've never played that game so I wouldn't have recognized the character portraits. Really neat graphics in the second one.

Wellard, that was a fantastic present you gave your brother! I'm guessing he didn't get more than one of those so he won't be returning your gift! That is so incredible that you can fly a plane... scares the daylights out of me to even think of being in control of one of those puppies!

Wohooooooooooo! I just came back from the shop. I am holding in my hands Guild Wars: Collector's Edition. I feel so proud. Not many people (will) have it. It's friday and I don't know what to do. I think I can't play Guild Wars since the game requires at least Geforce 3 but I have Geforce 2 MX-400.

So glad it's Friday yay!
Unfortunately still trying to heal my sick fish, this is getting nuts. I've already spent a good $80 on a new heater, filter media, new air pump, air stones, and meds. Still this &^*&( fungus will not leave the fish's body. Just put in a 2nd dose of this one med, I hope it works, cause if it doesn't I have no clue what to try next. The tank is sparkling clean btw, so not a dirty tank problem, and all the water tests come out fine. Sigh... Guess I'll go kill some stuff in Sacred for a bit, at least I'm successful in killing there LOL! |

Sorry to hear about your fish Lady Z. Is the fungus definitely a 'bad' one? I'd imagine that this kind of thing happens in the wild - perhaps it would be cheaper just to leave it alone? Short of lifting the fishies out and scrubbing with a toothbrush of course

You sure it's a fungus and not a bruisemark or something ? You know....since you sometimes beat the fish up and stuff ?

LOL, sometimes I wish I could just reach in and grab the fish up and use my fingers to physically scrape the crap off, but the fish won't let me LOL. I don't know what kind of fungus it is, there are hundreds of funguses, bacteria and parasites that can live in an aquarium, its a world of life you cannot see in the water besides the fish. It is very difficult to find out exactly what type of fungus, etc. in a fish without extensive knowledge and definitely a microscope, which I don't have. Thing is, I've had these two fish for 10 years (only one is sick, they are in the same tank but are separated by a divider) so I'm attached to them and really am ready to fight this fungus with whatever it takes, I just don't know what to do, that's the sucky/frustrating part. Fish keeps looking at me too when I walk up to the tank, like he's saying "c'mon dude fix me like you always do" and it's sad cause I DO always fix them, but this time it's different, and I don't know why. Could be the age of the fish, I have no idea how long African Synodontis Catfish (Lake Malawi in Africa) live.

LOL, I don't beat the fish up Johnny. I just felt like it when they started fighting last year, hence the divider! Glad I did that too cause it's kept the other fish from catching the fungus from hell.
