Yeah Jorath! I liked the Smashing Pumkins too although they weren't as good towards the end as they where during the siamese dream era. Now that was a good album! Oh and BTW Felix I've heard Taproot before although I don't really like them but I suppose there Okay.

I always thought more of the Smashing Pumpkins as a singles-band rather than an albums-band... The problem is the fact that Corgan cum suis weren't critical enough when they compiled their albums... They were all way too long to listen to from the beginning to the end; especially their last one, Machina/Machine of Gods had many brilliant songs but the album in its entirety was monstrous, simply too long and the quality of the songs too fickle; I think that if they'd scrapped about half of the songs and released a 40 minute long album, Machina *could* have been their glorious comeback; now it was their Waterloo.

My favourite bands in a nutshell btw:
Sonic Youth, Pavement, Pinback, Motorpsycho.

Black Sabbath/Ozzy!

I heard on the radio yesterday Ozzy is mad because theres now a porno movie out called The OzPorns. Apparently they all look like various members of the family and well have quite a "ball" with each other

I'd have to say my fav. band is The Offspring before the album Americana. It all went a bit trendie after that. Now I'm more of a Delrious? and Third Day guy.
