Does anyone know if there is a shareware version of this out? Sounds interesting, but I like to try out older games before I purchase 'em. Call me cheap, I like to thing Frugal.

No idea. Itīs worth it though. Very good game. Go in NOT expecting BG though or the roleplay will disappoint. Needs to be taken on itīs own merits.
Itīs interesting that they cross-promoted it with references to it in BGII. Teiflings, that extra store with Planescape items etc. ------------------ FAIR DINKUM! |

Archaon - Get a walkthrough if you get stuck, but definitely keep playing! It is a great game! I loved the NPCs and the storyline was excellent. I actually got teary-eyed at the end!

Well, I can only say this: Hang in there! It is tough to get into, alot of text and alot of info to get by before you get the feel for things. Chech in http://www.gamespot.com and go to their walkthrough area, a good one. Explore a lot and donīt kill any Dabuses! Talk alot to Morte in the beginning, he will give you alot od advices and do listen to his warnings.
And for the storyline, it beats down most games without even blinking! It is a great game.. Canīt seem to say enough times.. Memny, do you have a problem getting the game? I could buy it for you and send it over, perhaps even fix it from a friend thats not into CRPGīs that much.. itīs the European version though but well, tell me ehat you think.. ------------------ ::HOWLING WOLFGIR THE MAD WOLF:: |
