Naw, the Brat Pack was the 80's. Emilio Estevez, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy... basically, the cast of St. Elmo's Fire.
If you were thinking of the Rat Pack, that goes back a little further... And for the record, I believe that Schoolhouse Rock was from the 70s, although it probably played into the 80s. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to listen to some hair band music...

I confess: I had one of those skinny leather ties!
But it gets even worse: I wore a trenchcoat and a Borsalino hat along with it. Yeah, go ahead, point your fingers at me. After all it was the 80s!

The "Rat Pack" consisted of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. and a couple of others whose names I can't remember. The "Brat Pack" included several teens that starred in a number of 80's movies together. Celebrities like Judd Nelson, Emilio Esteves, Rob Lowe, Michael Anthony Hall, Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald and possibly C. Thomas Howell). Most of this cast appeared in "St. Elmo's Fire" (alone with Demi Moore in her first major role) and "The Breakfast Club" (sort of the defining movie for the Brat Pack group. Many others (like Ralph Macchio, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, and a few others) appeared in the movie adaptation of "The Outsiders". That was a "break-through" movie for several of those stars.

And I agree about wanting to see Victoria Principal take her clothes off. My uncle had a big collection of Playboy magazines in his bathroom closet, and pretending to have to use the bathroom really bad when we visited his house just so I could dig through his stash. It was a Gold Letter Day when I finally found the issue with a pic of Victoria Principal in it!!!!!! She looked "Mah-velous"!!!

LMAO!! Ah, back in the day, Cerek! lol! Hmm, I think I was probably a bit too young to remember most of the things of the 80s. That, and too poor for my parents to venture out, a lot.
