the last scene of Huxley's "Brave new World", where the savage is hanging from a rope (obviously dead) and the sky blackening with the planes of sensation-hungry tourists
gave me a real shiver and a glommy mood for the rest of the week. And still this brilliant, because describing the whole of human nature within two paragraphs, scene makes me thinking about humanity every time I remember. ------------------ reality is for those not smart enough to see the truth!!!!! |
