Yeah I've never been to a prom either. If it's anything like a ball, then I wouldn't go anyway. I don't do smart dressing up.

Have a good time LadyBlue.
Nothin' like sweet sweet luvin' on prom night (although we call them 'formals' in NZ). I'm sure you'd agree TL

I skipped all chances I had in high school to go to proms including senior prom, just because everyone expected me to go and I refuse to submit to conformity!

That's not conformity, that's living up to expectations, which is a little bit different.
And well, like any other party occasion, proms are only as fun as you make them. If they arn't your cup of tea, they arn't your cup of tea.

We had a 6th form leaving party. The first part was kinda boring, just a dance in the school canteen But a load of girls rented a farmhouse for afterwards so everyone just went and crashed there. I imagine it was a good time, as I can't remember what happened

Have fun LB!

when I was in the 10 grade I took a Senior girl(12th grade)to her prom, being I was bigger than most Seniors they didn't ask any questions. Then in the 11th grade I took a different Senior Girl to her prom, and she came with me to the Jr.Prom. then in my Senior I took A different Girl to my Senior Prom she happened to be a junior and she took me to her Jr.Prom and the following year I went to her Sr.Prom. So,in all I made it to six Proms and was invited and went to three Vise Versa Dances thats a dance where the girl asks the guy to go with her and she pays for everything. So that makes a grand total of nine prom type formal dances during the three years I went to High school. It was great fun but cost me a bloody fortune all but the three Vise Versa Dances and even then I paid for Dinner. Go to everyone you can,I had great times at each one and after the Prom, like timber said
