Good question! I said yes, as it seems there's lots of interest, but haven't played in a while, either.

I say make it a part of the Misc RPGs.
Cause I've played it, and IMO, and aint as good as the other big RPGs, like Baldur's Gate 2 and stuff.

Yes, excellent series. Every now and then I've run into the Ali Atabek, the developer (who worked for Interplay for a number of years, after his company, Mindscape, folded). I asked him once if he ever planned on relaunching the series, and he thought it was a good idea. But I never heard anything else on the matter. Presumably Fargo killed it.

I too Vote for a combined MIGHT & MAGIC and Heroes of Might and Magic forum now all I have to do is find some time to go to work, go to school, see my girl friend AND play M&M9, HoMM4, Freedom Force, Dungeon Seige, and Wiz 8 not to mention Morrowwind and NWN when they come out.....

Was a decision ever made about adding a M&M 9 Forum here at Ironworks?

heh, I got mm7 from the toy store for $9 ages ago... and after a few hours of dying I finally realized how to equip weapons... And that just made so much of a difference!

I've only played M&M once, and it was No. 7. Was really hard, and extremely complicated too. I think the fact that I had not played the earlier versions also made things more difficult for me. I remember printing out a walkthrough of it (this was three years ago btw) it was half a ream of paper! So, YES, in my opinion, a Might and Magic forum would be very helpful. There are many different strategies and aspects of the game that could be conversed about, and many situations/battles are hard to figure out and get through, so it would be nice to have a place to go to talk to others and possibly get help re that. I gave up pretty early on in M&M7, but if I had a place with people I could talk to that might be able to help me, maybe I would have continued playing and not given up, which is what I did. So obviously my vote on this poll was Yes
