If I could have, I would have voted for the Wizardry series. As great as BG is, and it is undoubtedly the "best" rpg, the Wizardry series is what opened me up to rpgs, gaming, and computers, and my best gaming memories are from that series. I guess it's the nostalgia factor.

BG series all the way, here, though I don't see why PS: T wasn't included. It's by far the #2, above IWD.

Yep, the story in Planescape Torment is very intricate and deep, unlike any other game, and the spell graphics are also pretty cool. I loved the Spiritual Hammer (think that was the one), that would kinda search about at first before it found its target LOL!
