After I finished my chaos army(haven't finished painting it yet, takes too looonnggg)I started collecting Blood angels because of their cool background and colour scheme, and because they fit my style of play(Put on your blindfold and rush towards the enemy). I used to play Warhammer 40,000 a lot when I was younger, and it was great. I spent hours painting the figures, arranging armies, building landscapes, I loved it, it was absolutely brilliant. Pity I don't have the time, money or space for it anymore

I remember playing it when I was younger - I had about 30 or so space marine figures that I painted too. God, that was a long time ago!

I also used to play Blood Bowl - someone mentioned it earlier in the thread - great fun!

Ye Gods, that brings back memories, though I stopped just after they changed the rule system for 40K. I originally collected Orks and then went on to a Chaos army. I also used to play Warhammer (Bretonnains), Blood Bowl (my Undead team, the 'Loose a Limb All Stars' were a source of great hilarity in our league) and Epic (Imperial).

Does anyone know/remember Necromunda? That was my favourite G/W game.

Awww, I'm getting all misty-eyed now. Pity that it was such an expensive hobby.
