Vaskez, i grew up with three Hungarian brothers among my best friends. I know more than you think.

That doesn't mean that i'll change my mind about their music.

UK came last, really? WOOOHOO! That's fantastic!

I was out at the People's Republic of Disco and they had a big screen up back showing the Eurovision, but no sound (thank god).

I really can't believe that Eurovision is still going on - it's the most bland, insipid, twee music ever. Totally dreadful, and I sincerely hope that people don't see that as the cultural face of Europe

In a way Britain deserved that slap in the face (I have nothing against the country though).

They should know that you have to check whether the half-dressed tart can actually SING before you throw her on stage.

Also my disrespect goes out to Ireland, Sweden and Norway for the complete and utter lack of originality. Especially Ireland should know much better than than COPYING THE WINNING SONG OF THE CONTEST FOR ONLY TWO FRIGGIN' YEARS BACK! And I am also sick and tired of Swedens latest trend in spouting out one soulless ABBA clone each year.

That said the rest was actually pretty awesome. I was astounded that Belgium got so many points. Nu-Folk must be on the way to break the commercial ice big time (which I think is good). I think the winning song from Turkey was really good too. But I think that France should have won far more points that they did. It was a really good song.

Also, Is it just me or are the Balkan countries just getting better and better each year?

And finally I have only one thing to say a bout the Greek contribution:

OMG Bo_Obies!

I watched up to the Austrian guy... then it got a bit too much for me. How did he do? The man rocked, in a very strange and bad way. I think Austria got the right idea frankly - if you are going to take part in the Eurovision song contest then at least send someone completely lacking in talent whatsoever. Anything more than that gives the contest delusions of acceptability.

He was the only one I watched because I'd heard he was so bad. I think he finished 5th or 6th. The eurovision is an absolute waste of time and money. Cyprus: Greece 12 points. Greece: Cyprus 12 points! Give me a break, they won't even let the UK be relegated!

BTW - why are Israel in it? What part of Europe are they in?
