Davros is too busy drowning his sorrows, and has no intention at all of running. Hey, my first assumption is that anyone named Barb is a she until proven otherwise.

To quote someone famous :

"I did but see her passing by....."

Anyway, I offer sincere apologies for my misconception Barb, or should I say Mr Wire .

Why do you Australians get so excited about a sport that's only played for two weeks of the year?

I won't be happy until Australia is a sports no pride zone. I've got a quiz for you

1)Last team to throw a two goal lead away in the last ten minutes of a World Cup playoff (football)

2)Last Australian team to win a match in the World Cup finals (football)

3) Last time Australia qualified for the World Cup finals (football)

4)Last Australian to score a goal in the World Cup finals (football)

5)Last Australian to drop a pint of cider in The Highbury Barn Tavern
(juggling)

Hey Donut, there was no OT in your post there - this is a TENNIS thread. However, I will not be rude like some, and try and supply some answers for you :
OZ, N/A, 1974, Don't know, and DAVROS (although I bet there have been other Aussies since that have made an impact .

Go Pat, Go Leyton!!!

I apologise for my off-topicness, but I may as well be hung for a lamb as for a sheep! Have you seen the new world rankings in Rugby Union?

1. New Zealand
2. England
3. Australia
4. South Africa
5. France
6. Ireland
7. Scotland
8. Wales
9. Argentina
10. Samoa
11. Italy
12. Canada

England go top if Argentina beat New Zealand at the weekend.
