Well GeForce is one of the best out there IMO So if I switch it's still going to be GForce And we don't have Radeon here so that's that

hell radeon is alomst like a kyro GC both never get the updates no where near as fast as GF cards do.so while GF is blazing out there the rest kinda gotta sit and wait for fix to come out for their model. and i dont even think voodoo cards exist anymore i never see them anymore. i have heard of rumors of them being out there somewhere, just where i dont know.

There's nothing to blame on the game. It isn't NWN's or Biowares fault that your hardware is WAY out of date. If you have been following the released titles lately, and also played them, then you already should have much more decent system then you do now. But I guess that you don't have.
Which means that it's really about the time to go out and get a new hardware. NWN is one of the new titles coming out. And there will be much more, and all these new titles will not run on your system either. So, take it as a signal

I guess I'm just the Ranting Swede here.
Where do you get video cards? How do you update the one you have currently? How do you get the video cards into your computer?

The ummm little box thingie that they sell the game in, does sort of specify certain basic hardware requirements. A little reading would have saved a lot of people some angst.
Radeon cards are really great for video editing, but since the really cool game graphics are done by using the GeFor4e Vertex shaders and the Infinitefx engine of the GeForce card, the GeForce line is the only real option for people who want high end game graphics. |
