i'll second deathkillers vote for zorak!!! that would just kick butt! i once played with a praying mantis as a child, now i'm so paranoid of bug you can barely get me to not freak out over a grasshopper! silly me.

Well-l-l-l, when I checked on "him" after I got up this morning(afternoon) there was something extra in there on the side of the container that looks suspiciously like an egg sack. And it's abdomen is noticably thinner. Guess I shouldn't have been going by the rule of looking for ovipositors. Egg sacks can withstand the winter cold, so I might put it in a sheltered part of the carport, after releasing the adult.
Something simular happened a few years ago when I rescued a lizard from my in-laws. Named it Luis and after finding a dozen eggs in the aquarium, changed the name to Lucinda. [img]graemlins/laughsaywhat.gif[/img] |
