Hi Huby! *giggle* I can see where that would make you laugh when I post about my 'hubby' We not only saved some, we haven't even cut it yet! It's dinner tonight. We thought it would be easier to have something all made up since I need to pick my friend up at the hospital and she won't feel like cooking, I'm sure.

how do all, hope everyone is well, looks like Ivan may just pass me by. I'm glad and sad for those that have and will get railed by this monster.

Elif! Glad it's going to miss you but I hope it doesn't do too much damage when it hits land farther up, either.
How bad has all this hurricane/storm activity been down your way?

In my little hamlet it has been minimal, power loss for a few days, tree limbs some loose roofing shingles here and there. Little further east and it get's nasty. I have a friend in polk county police office and some of the things he has seen over there reminded him of some combat scenes he was/has been in. To quote him" It looks like a bomb went off" . I really feel for the people of grenadia and Jamacia and cuba, Ivan has reaked even more havok on there little islands.
So all in all, I am peachy keen |

I've seen some of the news shots from Granada...it's really horrible. Something like 90% of the buildings were destroyed!
I don't understand why the don't build more storm proof shelters, though. Is it that they lack the money or is it just not feasible to build something like that there? It's too bad if either is the case because a few schools or hospitals made of something stronger might have been shelter for alot of people! It's such a tragedy to see so many people homeless and devastated. Hopefully they'll get some help rebuilding.

Good morning every one.
Not feeling very well today If anyone remembers that thread of mine from months go "spending the night with indigestion" it was sort of the same thing, just not as instense...kept me up until 3am! Last time it was stress related I think but I dunno about this time. Anyway, now I've got a definately unsteady stomach and *someone* misplaced my pepto-bismol that I was searching frantically for last night...had to settle for soda instead -_-

Hope you get well soon LB!
Second year of university started for me yesterday and so far it has been pretty easy. It will get much harder later on however. Just had a look at my timetable and on thursday I have 5 hours of physic in the morning. Talk about concentrating classes.
