Well, my vote goes to Paris, but I am prejudiced. Paris is one of my favorite cities.

Paris is a dynamic amalgamation of beauty, history, art, and culture. Paris is, in short, an amazing city. I really hope it wins. |

Beijing WINS!!!!!
As I was posting my little post on why I thought Beijing over Paris, I checked the CNN site in another window and there it was! Sorry Moiraine and all Parisians, but there is always 2012 ------------------ Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig |

For me, far too many arguments against China to have them host...
Especially when considered against one of the most beautiful cities on earth! I vote Paris |

Sorry it turned out the way it did Moiraine. My vote was for Paris. Mybe this will put more of a urgency on the Human Rights issues in their country.? Well ...? I know, the check is in the mail, do you want to buy a bridge, their is an Easter bunny, warm water freezes quicker than cold, toilets flush the opposite way in the southern hemishere, alcohol keeps you warm in the winter....
