Sadly I missed the betas, but as soon as it's out over here I'm going to get it.
Since everybody has now split on different servers we could at least post which server we are on (in this thread or a new one) so there's knowledge where to meet whom I know I will once I finally get my hands on WoW.

I just got the game and I'm about to install it.
I'll make characters on the Icecrown server because one of my best mmorpg friend from way back play there.

There! I definately will not get this game. I just look at the local price. It cost $549 to buy the game cd and then a $137 for the 60 days game card. Well, looks like I need to look for another mmorpg.

Where are you guys buying it?
At the Blizzard Store it's 49.99 USD and I haven't seen it for a lot more in any European or US online shop I visited. Even the Collectors edition is < 80$ AFAIK. I also heard that the first month would be free and after that there'd be a subscription fee of 15-20$/month.

I bought it in Canada.
It's true that the first month is free, but to register you need to register with your credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you have to register a game time card. I included a time card in my price above. |
