You too Reeka, sorry to hear that. It's a real bitch and can be right frustrating, particularly in a big battle. I know it's not a common problem or the board would be swamped........oh well. If I ever get/find a suitable fix then you'll be the first to know

strange I have never had a problem with this but my friend does, solved by switching off crticle hit screen tremor.

OMG, don't say that's not it! Turning off screen shake definitely worked in HOW. I have to admit I haven't played BGII much since I got HOW, but I thought that had fixed it.
As far as the number of critical hits goes, having points in some of the 'style' proficiencies means you get a critical hit on a natural roll of 19 or 20 (effectively doubling the chance of a critical hit). With a party of 6, you have reasonable odds of getting a critical hit in most rounds, given that some characters also have more than one attack per round. ------------------ ![]() Time is an illusion. I get this. It happens every time one of my characters scores a Crit. The room-0shaking scene starts, and I am somewhere else on the map (even when the cursor is NOT on the edge). When this happens, pause the game and double-click on a character portait to return
