Heaven forbid that I should ever go bald (knock on wood). I shaved my head once just to see what it looked like. It really gives you a good idea of just how big your ears really are And it also illuminated the fact that when my head is shaved, it looks like I have an extension in the back; an Alien-esque protrusion of the rear of my skull. It's not pretty. My boss asked me to wear a hat, because he said I looked like a serial killer, and they just didn't need that kind of publicity. =]

LOL ryaldin, serial killer eh?
I have my dad's genes (surprisingly) and he's over 50 and has a full head of hair, so here's hoping. I have pretty thick and dense hair though so I'm hoping I'll never go completely bald, just like Aledrain.

Ya gotta look on Mom's side for the baldness tendencies. Dads don't carry as much weight.
For me, my maternal grandfather died with a monk's fringe. My two maternal uncles have been thinning and balding away for years (but at least it started late). On my paternal side, my grandfather is the only hope. He's got more hair than any of his sons (five of them, of whom only one still has a full head of hair). Serial killer, eh, Ryaldin? Nice imagery...

Actually noone goes bald. The facts are that the skin on the head gets harder and the hair can't get through. So... the hair turns inwards and comes out the ears and nose.

Some Baldness can only be seen from above.
I'm over 50 and still have all my hair and most of my friends say it's not fare because women all think I'm around 36-37. It pisses off my younger bald friends because the girls all say they look older than me.
