I saw Final Fantasy, and I thought it was really good.
I am also looking forward to Lord of the Rings, because with what I have seen in both Shrek, and FF, the prospects of computer animation are enormous. I haven't read Harry Potter, so I am not going to judge it... (Hi there Jake!) ------------------ "Watch your back" |

I've seen Final Fantasy, and thought it was awesome. Although it had nothing to do with *any* of the games. That's my only gripe with that movie. I heard Jurassic Park three was good, and Rush Hour 2 will be funny! I'm looking forward to that one. I've read one of the Harry Potter books. They're decent, but they don't have a whole lot of depth, or surprises. Besides they aren't exactly up to our reading level anyway.

Yea the graphics in Final Fantasy were unbelieveable, but I thought their was going to be more action. If they keep making the graphics better we won't be able to tell the diffrence in what is CG and RL.

I saw the previews of the Harry Potter movie. It looks exciting! I took my wife to go see the Princess Diaries. That was also a good, decent movie. I want to see Cats and Dogs. (They have a ninja-like Saiamse cat skit that is crazy!)
One of the previews I saw in the theatre was of a new movie coming out called Ice Age. The preview was of this stupid little prehistoric squirrl, walking along the ice, and then the ice begins to crack and an entire mountain of Ice begins to fall toward him, as he is histerically trying to outrun it. The detailed graphics with the awsome bass sound that accompanied it just about made me wet my pants! All I could say after it was through was... "Damn! That was cool!" ------------------ Devoted member of the Ironworks Loyal guardian of the OHF Member of the Ancients' club |

Saw Jurassic Park III, three words...save your money
I loved the Harry Potter books! Of course they are going to be an easy read without a lot of action/mystery/intrigue...they were written for the 7-10 yr old crowd. J.K. Rawling does an excellent job of keeping the text simple, but making it exciting and enjoyable for all And does anybody at all want to go see Rush Hour II? My sister and brother-in-law are coming into town tonight and want me to go see it with them. I think I would rather gouge my own eyes out than pay $8 to see that junk. Why do people like movies that you can check your brain at the door? ------------------ Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig I've got to admit it's getting better, it's getting better all the time |

yep i have to totally agree that final fantasy has great graphics and a good (if not decent) story background. i dont know why all my friends so it say it sucked. most probably because they wanted nice endings all the time. rush hour 2 is good and pretty funny . you should never miss jet lee "Kiss of the Dragon" movie to all you action guys/gals out there. its one of the best action ive seen in a while.

Hi there Harkoliar!
and Tancred, notice I mentioned Shrek? I know that the storyline was "fairy tale" style, and that a lot of the little jokes were aimed at the younger crowd, but I really like the environments in it, because they were much more Fantasy style. Thats why I want to see Lord of the Rings, because if they can do that with a kids comedy, what can they do with a serious Fantasy tale? ------------------ "Watch your back" |
