I would hope so, Gaius. I think I may do a search on it and see what info I can come up with (on MM9). If it's a return to 6 and 7 (sans blasters, thank ye!) then I'll be happy.

MM7. Finished in less than 6 months of game time. All party members at level 1. Score above 90000. Path of Light. All available quests done. All available dungeons completely cleared. No monsters in sight.

1-5. I have all eight installed on my machine but I haven't played 6-8 yet. I still fire up MM1 or MM2 sometimes to relive old memories. Like Wyvern, I too made maps of everything, but unfortunately they're nowhere to be found! I liked MM1-MM3 the best. All three were great and I can't pick my favorite.

I'm currently playing a really old RPG called Star Trail. It's the second in the Realms of Arkania trilogy. I finished the first one, Blade of Destiny, a few months ago. You know, good old RPGs are still fun despite the primitive graphics and sound!

Star Trail and primitive sound? It has one of the nicest soundtracks I've ever heard in the game!

Hi I played 3, 6 - 8. 4&5 fell in my no computer time.
Different to popular believe, I enjoyed MM8 very much, while I think that MM& is mostly crap.
Having to clear 5 castles of 1000something monsters is not my idea of RPGs.
MM8 was a bit on the light side, but other wise played very fine.

BTW does anybody know, if MM1-5 can be brought to run on a Win2000 system?

Ciao

I've played 6 through 8; would've done the first five if I'd known about 'em when they came out!

I played a little Might & Magic in the early 90's on a friend's computer, sorry to remember no details, but it was fun enough that I bought Might & Magic VII and love the game tons. Suck at it, but love the game tons. I enjoy the story and options much more than WnW, but WnW has the best character development ever....
