PsT is Planescape torment; possibly one of the best CRPG's ever made. Certainly IMHO the best of this list.

Dragonslayer,

Yes, I do think NWN is better than BG1 (and this is DESPITE the fact that I am running it with a voodoo5!). Once you get to chapter two, you can explore areas in almost any order (you could do the same thing in chapter one, but it was really designed to be done in a specific order). It has the same continuous world feel that BG1 did, plus the plot is very well crafted. Additionally, the 3E rules bring a depth to game that BG doesn't have. Plus the power and flexibility of the toolset makes NWN MUCH better than any of the others. I thought that BG2:TOB was boring - I breezed thru the game in multiplayer with one other player and quite frankly nothing was a match for us. SOA was better crafted, and more of a challenge. While PsT is somewhat limited, the depth of dialogue makes it a standout. NOTHING comes close to it.

Here is a great review with nice screenshots.

Edit: Oh! Justa note about Torment. If you never played the pen and paper rpg before, you might find the character in the game speak strangly, but there is probably a website or a faq somewhere that can show you the special words.
