1. My grandfather (he died before I was born - in fact, my mom never even met him, he died when my dad was 16.)
2. Jerome Iginla, my idol (c'mon guys, hockey player, best guy in the league outside of the net ) {braces for angry response from other fans} 3. Mother Theresa, really great woman, no doubt one of the best people, morally, to ever live. 4. johnny, course he'd probably be kinda scary in real life 5. Mel Brooks. What a funny guy There are probably more, but that comes to mind.

Five people...
1. My maternal grandfather. He passed away when I was 18, and from what I know now, I'd be able to learn a lot from him. 2. Jon Van Caneghem. Creator of the MM series, started with nothing and built a ton. NWC is going toast now, but what a ride... 3. Zig Ziglar. Motivational speaker and salesperson extraordinaire, he's made a second career out of talking about what he loves. I'd like to get some of that.. 4. Thomas Edison. The utmost in creative thinking and finding new ways to solve things. 5. Lou Gherig, baseball player. Consummate professional and a man who lived his life doing what he loved.

I think Jesus qualifies as people (he WAS incarnated as a human) but god - nonono for me (not given very much thought of the last three but these are the first that spring to my mind) 1.) Erich Kästner (german writer born in 1899 and lived through both world wars) 2.) Mohandas K. Gandhi 3.) Sokrates 4.) Pope John XXIII 5.) Karl Marx

1. Dwain Chambers - 100m sprinter and the England Squad's captain in the previous Commonwealths. I'd love to shake his hand and tell him, despite what others have said, he did a great job.
2. Mahatma Gandhi - Just to see if I can get him to take a 2-by-4 to my back 3. Lee Evans - But I don't want to get too close, and I'd bring a towel 4. William Shakespeare - In the words of Rowan Atkinson, "That's for every schoolboy and schoolgirl for the next few hundred years" 5. Myself at 65.
