I did the BBC Test the Nation thing, and I got 123.

In academic circles I was always in, it was considered rude to discuss your IQ score. Sorry, guys, not a flame, but it was always considered much more rude here in the USA to discuss this. Of course, in Europe, asking someone what they do for a living is considered pretty rude, and in the USA it's right after "what's your name?"

How did all of you guys get tested anyway? Is it something they did in school or did you do it on your own?

The gubbermint tested me when they were trying to convince me to go into their nuclear program back in the fall of 1979 [img]smile.gif[/img] Hard to forget the "Men In Black" coming to your school and taking aside all the smart kids [img]smile.gif[/img]

i took an IQ test a while back and it said my IQ was 129. that test was flawed. i just know there was something wrong with it i just don't know what.

If you want an objective (or at least it seems to me) view on IQ tests read the book QI by professor kevin warwick (UK professor). it seems to show that IQ as we know it is irrelevant and the only truly objective view of intelligance is called an intelligance HyperSphere. basically you cannot measure intellegance by 1 number but by a shape of infinite dimintions of complexity.

I had an IQ tested at my school after I finished the GQE (Graduation Qualifying Exam) which I passed on the first time by the way [img]smile.gif[/img] I think my IQ is around... 110 I think, could be better but I'm satisfied as is.

I think he was more referring more to the fact that the two places he'd picked out don't technically exist any more. The test is going to have to be pretty old or else the person who wrote it hasn't noticed that whole former Balkan state "thang" going on in Eastern Europe...
