I really enjoyed Scrubs when it was on - unfortunately the network that had it here decided, in their infinite wisdom, as they do with many shows, to can it and put on world's worst wedding disasters or some such show . Also recently loved The Office, and CNNNN (Australian satire on American news stations ).

Excellent show that one.
I really enjoyed Scrubs (Dr Cox was a constant source of amusement.)

But by far the funniest show on TV is "Coupling" (A BBC comedy for those of you who have never heard of it.)

We have an American version of this on primetime these days. However, they put it opposite a show I like, so I'm not watching. The same is, unfortunately, the case with Lyon's Den and a few other shows -- including OC (hey, I grew up on 90210, so I'd watch it otherwise). If these damned network execs would quit putting these shows opposite obvious winners like The Practice and Friends and Scrubs, they wouldn't be flashes in the pan. Dumbasses.

To be honost, I don't watch TV very much anymore. With 3 young boys in the house, our channel surfing occurs between Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and PBS stations. The really surprising thing is that I don't miss watching TV because most shows today just ridiculous glop - especially the sit-coms. I do watch Friends occasionally and it is pretty funny (sometimes, and then sometimes the humor is just beyond me).

As far as I'm concerned, the best TV show is, was, and always will be The Andy Griffith Show. Great characters, excellent stories, plenty of humor, and even a few life lessons thrown in at no extra charge.

It could be argued that - for sheer comedy value - I Love Lucy is better, but it isn't on in syndication right now (at least not in my area).
