I recently installed XP Pro on both my computers, in exchange of ME. My god.. ME was a catastrophe! I installed XP a few months ago, and the computer has NEVER frozen, whereas with ME the comps froze every 20 mins.

Here's another daft question.
If you have more than one computer do you need more than one copy of XP?

You can do it with one copy of XP you just need to get the license for both computers. At leat thats how it works in Hungary.

Each installation of XP (and typically any software) needs its own license.
Go 2000 if you want the fastest Windows OS, it's definitely a tad faster than XP. Go XP otherwise, it's got some annoyances but also some cool features/upgrades. Go to microsoft.com if you want a breakdown of all the changes (there are a lot). |

I went straight from, Win95 to XP. Missed all the OS's in the middle. Quite a jump. This was of course becouse I went from a 1997 Packard Bell Pentium 133, to a new system.

Whoooo, LordKathen!
Welcome to the new age. How does it feel not having to operate the crank all the time while computing?
