And in German they are called Frikadellen. (That's plural)
BTW, if you didn't know, no I'm not German, but I know that for some reason.

The coolest thing is that almost all the European Countries have almost the same name for a very closely related food [img]smile.gif[/img]

Except the French..but they don't count [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Well we have both friakdeller (pl) and Köttbullar (pl) what you might call meatballs.. Similiar but frikadeller is boiled whereas köttbullar are either grilled or fried.
