Tradition demands I make a mockery of serious questions, so here goes:
. 1. How many members are there in the U.S. Senate? . All male Senators each have a member . 2. what are the popular names for popes? . None - they're not popular . 3. When did the Brooklyn Dodgers move to Los Angeles? . who cares? . 4. Who invented Pac-man? . Pac-God . 5. Why is the famous clock called Big Ben? . Because Big D*** was too rude [ ------------------ In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is pimp. http://lordraptor0.tripod.com/index.html |

LOL enjoyed the answers...
The Answersalmost everyone had #1 right 1. There are two from each state for a total of 100 2. John, Gregory, Benedict, and Clement, in that order. There have veen 23 Johns (and 2 John Pauls), 16 Gregorys, 15 Benedicts, and 14 Clements. 3. according to my source, The Brooklyn Dodgers left Ebbets Field after the 1957 baseball season. 4. The inventor of Pac-man was 27-year old Turn Iwantani, who worked for Namco Limited of Japan, a producer of video games and computer software. and 5. Big Ben is not a clock. It is a 13.5 ton bell in the clock tower of England's Houses of Parliament. Cast in 1858, the bell's installation was directed by the rotund Sir Benjamin Hall, commissioner of works. The bell was originally to be called Saint Stephen's but the British newspapers renamed it Big Ben. there ya go! there will be quiz #2 in a couple of weeks ------------------ |
