A New Beginning

Gwynne blinked her eyes at the rapid chain of events occurring before her. First, before she could react to what Storm had whispered, he jumped up and ran out with a shout. Then Thalali rushed into the room and starting to approach the girl, shouting for someone to stop him... and the whole time, the girl was sitting there quietly waiting for someone to finish her off!

Gwynne reacted without thinking, doing something that surprised even herself. Running over to the bloodcrazed Thalali, she grasped him by the ears and kissed him soundly. Her foggy brain finally registered what she was doing and reacted violently. What do you think you are doing?! He could drain you dry! ....At least I could take it, I should have enough strength to push him away if I tried, which is more than the human girl could do...

Maybe if she was lucky, Thalali would still be human enough that the unexpected kiss would snap him out of the blood lust, or at least curb it. She was too new a ghoul to really know what else to do... human nature was still second nature to her.

ooc- it's too bad you couldn't wait for me to post Larry, that could've been Storm on the receiving end [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img] just thought I'd throw that in as a random twist [img]smile.gif[/img]

Bakilas arrives at the top of the stairs and turns in time to see Gwynne kissing Thalali and the human standing around foolishly. "Oh for hell's sake will you two at least wait until we get somewhere a lot less dangerous. I don't want to die because you two suddenly feel like a shag."

He then steps around the two fools and grabs onto the mortal, as tempted as he was to make a meal of her what Storm said made sense. With a swift shove he sends the door flying off its hinges and drags the mortal with him. "Does anyone know where Storm went?"

Thalali
Thalali's eyes got big when Gwynne kissed him, he snapped out of the blood lust, the kiss had calmed him. After they broke away, he sat on the hard floor, glad Gwynne could stop him without violence, But the kiss had struck a nerve, memories of his family came to mind. He started to tear up, thinking of his old life.

Gwynne coughed a bit nervously and put a comforting hand on Thalali's shoulder as his eyes started to grow shiney with unshed tears. "I think we will bump into him back at the casino... he tore out of here like a banshee when he was trying to resist the blood lust."

Mistral

She found herself staggering once more, nearly tripping over the putrid-filled surroundings as a creature seemingly of superhuman strength began to haul her along like a meat loaf.

"S... stop..." ~ Spluttering for breath, arms flailing about in panic, she wheezed occasionally as she tried to regain her balance as she and her new 'captor' made their way into the streets once more ~ "W... why can't I be left alone?" ~ Yet it seemed as if the reappearance of the 'normal' world she lived in shattered away more than half the terrors that haunted her ~ If I ever get alone again... ~ But she never got to finish her thought, for she was being dragged again. Never had she been so well "sought after", but the smile that she tried to make barely crossed her parched lips.

The Mansion was left behind, the limo had, unfortunately already left. Screams of pain sounded from inside and downstairs, and you are reminded of the poor wretch strapped to the table.

The area surrounding the mansion is devoid of human habitation, a long driveway leads to I-15 which leads south to the city. at this time of night there are more than a few cars on the road.

With a soft grunt Bakilas throws the human over his shoulder, "Well Storm is not my problem, I am not here to babysit newly turned vampires. Now lets get out of here."

He steps in front of the next car that is passing and fires his pistol into the air.

The sports car comes to a screeching halt, the middle aged man pops the door open and runs, his tailored suit looking much less distinguished than it had when he was driving. The car is a cherry red '69 corvette (2 seater)

Bakilas puts the human into the passanger seat and turns to the remaining vampires. "Who wants to deliver the mortal to the casino?"

I won't be able to, my lust for blood is too strong. If you could get us a second car Bakilas, we could just all go at once, though I am starting to worry about Storm.
